    Michael Strogoff by Jules Verne

I enjoyed reading Michael Strogoff. The first few pages were a bit confusing. This may have been because Verne introduced his characters by jumping straight to the action and mentioning a lot of people in a few paragraphs. However, once I understood who was who, I could follow the story easily. From then on, I enjoyed traveling with Michael and Nadia so much that I could not stop reading their adventures. Jules Verne had a way of describing the events that made me feel as if I was in Russia witnessing the scene. My heart was pounding when Michael and Nadia encountered a bear and I felt their sorrow when Nicholas Pigassof passed away. I truly felt as if I was in their shoes.
